Instructions for Almond Joy Cookies
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt. Booking.
- In another bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually fold the flour mixture into the wet mixture until well combined.
- Add the grated coconut, chopped almonds and chocolate chips, mixing gently.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop mounds of dough onto the prepared sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
