INGREDIENTS
- 8oz refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup pecan pieces
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 oz cream cheese, chilled
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- ½ cup cream soda
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and thoroughly grease a 8×8 baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the pecan pieces, brown sugar, cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons melted butter.
- Chop cream cheese into 8 squares.
- Open crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a cube of cream cheese and spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of the dough triangle then roll up and seal.
- Once dough is secure, place in the baking dish. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
- Pour the remaining 6 tablespoons of melted butter over the rolls and sprinkle the remaining brown sugar pecan mixture over the top.
- Pour the cream soda around the rolls.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the dough is just browning on top. Serve warm.
