Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

For the Cooking Liquid:

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Brisket:

  • Pat the beef brisket dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper.

2. Make the Rub:

  • In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, ground cumin, dried thyme, and dried oregano. Mix well to create the rub.

3. Rub the Brisket:

  • Rub the spice mixture all over the seasoned brisket, ensuring it is evenly coated on all sides.
