Stuffed Buffalo Chicken Shell

Ingredients:

For the Filling:

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, shredded mozzarella cheese, and sliced green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spoon the buffalo chicken mixture into the cooked pasta shells, filling each shell until full.
  5. Arrange the stuffed shells in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
  6. Drizzle the remaining 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce over the stuffed shells, then sprinkle with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving.
