Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds ribeye steak, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
8 slices provolone cheese
4 hoagie rolls, split and toasted
Mayonnaise (optional)
Ketchup (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
Start by thinly slicing the ribeye steak. If it’s too difficult to slice, you can place it in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm it up, making it easier to slice.
Thinly slice the onion and green bell pepper. Set aside.
2. Cook the Steak:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the sliced steak with salt and pepper.
Add the steak to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until it’s browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
