Put salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken according to your taste, then bake for 25 minutes.
While the chicken is cooking, cook the bacon until the fat has melted, but it is not crispy yet.
Take the chicken out of the oven, cut each bacon slice in half, and put the bacon pieces on top of the chicken.
Put the chicken back in the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
Take out the chicken once more, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
