Prepare the Corn:
Remove the husks and silk from the corn. Break the cobs in half if needed to fit in your saucepan.
Boil Water:
Fill a large saucepan with enough water to cover the corn. Bring it to a boil over high heat.
Cook the Corn:
Once the water is boiling, carefully add the corn cobs. You can add a pinch of salt if desired.
Cover the pot and let the corn cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender.
Serve:
Carefully remove the corn with tongs and let it drain. Serve hot with butter and additional salt if desired.
