- 300g (10 oz) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Caramelized Onions & Mushrooms:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups mushrooms (shiitake, cremini, or button), sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional, for extra flavor)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Noodles & Sauce:
- 200g (7 oz) egg noodles or rice noodles
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth (or water)
- 1 teaspoon sriracha or chili paste (optional, for heat)
Garnish:
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds, for sprinkling
- Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (optional)

- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, along with the caramelized onions, mushrooms, and beef.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the top and toss everything together, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
