Chicken cacciatore is a traditional French dish where chicken is poached in a rich sauce made with tomatoes, mushrooms. A comforting meal that the whole family will enjoy!
Ingredients:
- – 4 chicken legs (or 4 chicken whites)
- – 250 grams of mushrooms from Paris
- – 1 onion
– 2 cloves of garlic - – 2 ripe tomatoes (or 200 g of chopped canned tomatoes)
- – 150 ml of poultry stock
- – 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- – 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- – 1 bouquet garni (bay leaf, thyme, parsley)
- – Salt and pepper to taste
- – Fresh parsley for garnish
