Ingredients:

To recreate the authentic flavors of Pasta al Forno, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) pasta (such as rigatoni, penne, or ziti)
  • 2 cups (480ml) marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup (240ml) ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup (100g) grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 pound (225g) Italian sausage, removed from casings
  • 1/2 cup (75g) diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
